Unfortunately, I had to remove the comments section, not because I don’t want them but because those sections of all the various blogs I’ve done over the last few years had been overwhelmed by masses of spam.

They were all filling up with dodgy links to bitcoin, porn, Thai bride and viagra sites etc., literally loads of posts every day on every page. I couldn’t keep up – it was like trying to bat away machine gun fire, and they just kept coming back anyway. It’s a shame but I couldn’t think what else to do.

If you want to comment and you know me you can email or WhatsApp me. I can’t put my contact details up here either because then I’ll get all the crap on those too.

Anyway, Josie was commenting on the Corfury page on the subject of caged birds, pointing out that Pip used to love the song Greenfinch & Linnet from the musical Sweeney Todd, by Sondheim, which is all about caged birds.
